Air Race Jasna 2025 – Airplane races in the UL & Experimental category, the only event of its kind in Europe. The second edition will begin on August 23, 2025, at Aerodrome Jasna, an international airfield set in the stunning landscape between the foothills of the Low Tatras and the Liptovská Mara reservoir. For all Liptov visitors: aerobatic performances, dynamic flight demonstrations, and numerous children’s attractions.
The headline act will be the elite aerobatic team Baltic Bees, arriving with their AERO L-39 Albatros jets from Latvia. Also featured: the Slovak Ministry of Interior squadron with an Airbus A319; Red Bull Air Race founder Péter Besenyei; aviation legends Peter Jirmus; the Orly aerobatic group from Riga flying RV-8s; and Viper Sky Box, a formation of Viper SD-4 aircraft. The program includes large-scale model aircraft and fighters from the Czechoslovakia Jet Team. At the autograph session, alongside Ivan Bella, Slovakia’s first cosmonaut, will be Vladimír Remek, the first Czechoslovak cosmonaut. Visitors may also experience a hot-air balloon flight for a unique panorama between the Low Tatras peaks and Liptovská Mara.
All day: quality catering tents; children’s entertainment on themed bouncy castles and in competitions; all air displays shown on a large screen with professional sound.
Air Race Jasna remains the sole Central European event combining UL aircraft speed races with an aerobatic airshow and cultural program.

The first Air Race Jasna drew about 5 000 visitors from Slovakia and abroad and earned positive reviews from the Transport Authority, experts, and pilots. Professional equipment and organizational support will ensure the highest event standards. Safety of spectators and visitors is paramount: coordinated with the Slovak Transport Authority, police force, fire services, and medical teams to guarantee top-level safety throughout.
